3 - Digit Subtraction without Regrouping – Math puzzle

I’ve included three different sizes of the same puzzle. The smaller size is only three pages and it is great if you are going to print of individual copies for students to practice with in class or at home. The larger size requires 6 pieces of paper and quite a bit of space to solve – fun for centers and group work. The extra-large size requires 18 pieces of paper.

Cut out the puzzle pieces (or even better if your students do it themselves) and students are to solve the puzzle so that it matches the solution provided.

I’ve been using these puzzles for years with great success! I recommend printing the puzzles on colourful paper and laminating them. This way you only have to cut them out once and they will last for years!

What is included in this product?

• The solution to the puzzle – Pages 2

• The normal size puzzle – Pages 3 – 5

• The large size puzzle – Pages 6 – 11

• The extra-large size puzzle – Pages 12-29

• Questions and Answers in a table format for easy grading or you can cut these out to play a matching game – Pages 30 – 32

My students love doing these types of puzzles.

This product can also be used as a perfect revision of the school work to do at home. All answers can be easily checked thanks to the included solution to the puzzle or questions and answers shown in a table.

Thank you for checking my resources.

Winter Holiday Read & Write the Room Noun &Verb Sort Is It a Noun or a Verb? For Stations or Anytime Created Especially For 1st Grade

This activity is a great way to get your kiddos up and moving around the room during Literacy Stations, Daily 5 or anytime.  Place the cards strategically around the room. Tape the cards to boards, doors, windows, bulletin boards, cabinets or anywhere you think would be fun.  The children have to WALK around the room looking for the cards and write the word that tells what the picture is under the correct heading.

This is a great way to reinforce nouns and verbs while enabling your students to understand these concepts of language in a fun way.

( Please note: there are a few extra cards. You only need to post 10 of each.)

Thank you for purchasing, downloading, browsing, following and inspiring!  I hope this brings a bit of sunshine your way! I appreciate customer feedback and comments. If you find anything in this packet that needs to be reworked or might work better for your students, please let me know and I will be happy to rework any activity/packet that you have purchased to fit your needs.

Students "travel around the world" with this engaging math game. Using place value, addition, and multiplication students will calculate their distance as they travel.
