I've been searching for the perfect reader's notebook to use with my kids but I couldn't find anything that would work for my classroom. As with all my items, I try to give you the freedom to customize the notebook for your own room. It is black-and-white so that the kids can decorate it and make it their own. I've included 2 cover pages (one says Reader's Response Notebook & the other says Reader's Notebook), a reader's notebook guidelines page where you can create your own do's and don'ts for the notebook, the literacy cafe menu, a page to record reading goals, a reading interests page, a page to write down future books to read, 3 different think-mark pages (stop & jot, Think marks, and sticky-notes - choose the wording that works best for you) with a table of contents page (I wanted to be able to find the think-marks my students wrote for a particular book), and lined paper for responding to literature. If you would like anything changed or customized, please email me and I will do what I can.
I included a picture of a students decorated notebook so you can see an example but the notebook covers are blank.
