Springtime is here, and it it's time for all the sleeping bears to wake up and start eating again!
This fun game uses a die for counting skills and provides opportunity to sort, organize, and discuss colors as your child places his/her bears by their food sources. It also ties in nicely to the following units: Spring, Bears, Fish, Food Chains/Webs. The one-to-one coordination practice helps prepare children for pre-reading and early math skills!
• Each player will need his own game board.
• Put 20 (or any other appropriate number) Teddy Graham bears in the cave.
• Spring is here! It’s time for hibernating bears to wake up! Take turns rolling a
die and moving the rolled number of bears out of the cave and to their food
(fish or berries).
• Once all your bears are awake and eating, you win! You can, of course, always "finish" playing until everyone wins. ;)
